Lesley and I wanted to say how pleased we were with every aspect of our recent Sth America/Antartica holiday. Everything worked - hotels expected us, "meet and greets" were there to meet us, every tour collected us on time - it couldn't have gone better. We were very impressed with the MV Ushuaia - all the ship's crew were outstandingly professional and their attention to detail was amazing.
We were particularly impressed by the positive and caring attitude towards the elderly (there was an 85 year old lady and a couple in their 70s). I have told Amanda how good everything was, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Chimu.

Just wanted to thank you guys for organising a fantastic holiday for us. It ran like clockwork from start to finish and the cruise itself was unbelievable. We were fortunate and had unbelievably good weather so had half a dozen landings plus lots of zodiac cruising. Penguins, whales and seals all over the place – in fact whales cruising up against the boat!

Now that the memory of crossing the Drake Passage is fading somewhat I can look back on the Antarctica trip as more of an adventure. Yes I did get sea sick going down as we were in very rough seas but the trip home was smooth sailing and was good. The Antarctic Dream was very good the crew and the guides were very helpful. The food was to die for even though I didn’t eat for the first two days. My cabin mate was really good and we got on fine thanks for pairing us up he was great company. I had a great time. All in all I did have a good holiday. Thanks for organizing a great adventure

Chimu Adventures organized our recent tour of Chile, Bolivia and Peru to perfection. Our guides were all friendly, informative and competent and our drivers careful, helpful and professional. A sensational month was spent touring and sampling some of the spectacular sights of the three countries. The Custom Tour provided our party the independence to choose where we wanted to go and what we wanted to experience. I would recommend Chimu to everyone.

Just a (belated) message to let you know that we had a fantastic time in Peru. We really enjoyed our week in the Amazon; we were lucky enough to see many animals (including a Jaguar, and a 5m anaconda at very close range) and this was mainly due to the sharp eyes and extraordinary knowledge of our guide, Nicolas. The Inca trail was also fabulous. We joined a great group, and again benefited from the knowledge of excellent guides. Throughout the trips, the meals and service provided were fantastic. Just wanted to say a big thankyou for everything that was arranged for our visit to Peru. Everything was absolutely first class from the moment we arrived at Cusco Airport to the time we left Puno airport. You were always there to meet us on time and the people were always friendly and helpful. I can see that there are some difficulties with tourist activities in Peru, but the tour/ trek was well organised and professionally managed from start to finish. Our guide and porters were most helpful, the food was much better than expected and the tent accommodation was good.
