Day 1: Havana
Arrive in Havana at any time.
Day 2: Havana – Viñales: Breakfast
Explore both the Old and Modern Havana, Cuba's capital city, including a visit to a Cigar Factory. Enjoy the scenic journey to nearby Viñales.
Day 3: Mil Cumbres: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Head to Mil Cumbres for our first hike through endemic cork palm trees. Visit the local community San Juan de Sagua and cool off with a swim in the river.
Day 4: El Caimito - Mil Cumbres: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Our hike takes us to the rangers' station at the bottom of a mountain known as El Caimito. Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch before continuing our hike across the river through this once-volcanic region.
Day 5: Viñales Valley: Breakfast, Lunch
Walk the Viñales Valley, visit the tobacco fields and explore the Santo Tomás cave, the second largest in the world.
Day 6: Cayo Jutias: Breakfast
Travel to Cayo Jutias where we enjoy the beautiful beach with the option to swim or snorkel in the nearby coral reef.
Day 7: Santa Clara - Topes de Collantes: Breakfast, Lunch
Venture to Santa Clara city where we visit the Che Guevara Memorial. Take an optional visit to a cigar factory, Church of San Juan Bautista or relax by the lake near Sierra del Escambray. Make our way to Topes de Collantes for the night.
Day 8 to 10: Codina Park - Guanayara Park - El Cubano: All meals x 3
Over three days, walk through the beautiful surroundings of central Cuba, complete with waterfalls, streams, and a variety of flora and fauna. Pass through Codina Park, Guanayara Park (home to El Rocio waterfall), and continue along through El Cubano. On Day 10, we will have time to explore the breathtaking Ancon Peninsula outside of Trinidad.
Day 11: Island of the Iguanas: Breakfast, Lunch
Island of the Iguanas is a little lost island off the coast of Cuba. Weather permitting; we will take a boat across for a relaxing lunch on the beach, with plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling.
Day 12 & 13: Trinidad: Breakfast x 2
Journey to Trinidad and learn about the historic importance of this UNESCO World Heritage site with an included city tour. Be sure to check out the Casa de la Musica at night for some dancing under the stars.
Day 14: Havana: Breakfast
After breakfast, travel back to Havana to find those last minute Cuban treasures to take home, and enjoy one last night on the town.
Day 15: Havana: Breakfast
Depart Havana.
