Explore the historical “Paris of the South” city that never sleeps before leaving Buenos Aires to experience the spectacular cascading Iguacu/Iguazu Falls that border Argentina and Brazil. Take in the surrounding areas of Rio de Janeiro before ending the journey in the beautiful city itself.

DAY 1: BA Private Trf International Airport - Hotel Arrival into Buenos Aires and transfer to hotel. | ||
DAY 2: Buenos Aires: LIVE City Tour A tour of Buenos Aires serves as a great introduction to this incredible city giving you a taste of its fascinating history, architecture, culture, inhabitants, anecdotes, and secrets. You will explore the busy centre, including the Plaza de Mayo, where the Casa Rosada Presidential Palace is located; the aristocratic North, including Recoleta Cemetery, best-known for holding Eva Peronâs grave; and the working-class South, such as the famous La Boca and San Telmo districts, heartland of the Tango. This evening you will be transported back in time thanks to the La Ventana tango show. Enjoy the dancers, orchestras and local singers, while dining from the impressive menu that offers both local and international cuisine as well as an extensive list of Argentinean wines. At the conclusion of the show a bus will transfer you back to your hotel. | ||
DAY 4: BA Private Trf Hotel - Dom Airport or Port Transfer to the airport or port for your journey from Buenos Aires. Arrival into Iguasu airport and transfer to your hotel. | ||
DAY 5: Iguazu Argentinean Falls After an early morning pick up from your hotel, we travel to the Argentinean side of the Iguazu Falls. Beginning at the visitorâs centre, we take a ride on the Rainforest Ecological train before exploring the upper and lower circuit footbridges. The footbridges, which are raised off the jungle floor, provide panoramic views from above and below the falls. A visit to Devilâs Gorge arguably the most spectacular falls, is one of the dayâs highlights. During this trip, you will have some free time to explore for yourself. If you wish, you can choose to take a jet boat ride under the falls. *Only available to certain passengers as physical conditions are required* National park entrance fees included. | ||
DAY 6: Iguazu Brazilian Falls Today we see the falls from the Brazilian side of the border. After arriving at the visitor center, we board buses for a tour of the park. Equipped with panoramic windows, the buses are designed to maximize your views of the falls, while the walkways and steps allow you to get up close to the spray. Views of the Floriana Falls, the Devilâs Gorge Canyon and the Iguazu River are spectacular and are guaranteed to impress. National park fee included. Transfer to the airport for your outward flight from Iguasu. Arrival into Rio de Janeiro and private transfer to your hotel. | ||
DAY 7: Corcovado + Sugarloaf with Lunch After departing from the hotel, the tour makes its way to the bottom of Corcovado Hill, where passengers will ascend the mountain by train. Climbing 4km through the worldâs largest urban national park, the Tijuca Forest, the train arrives at the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Here, guests will have time to enjoy panoramic views of Rio and appreciate the giant statue, which was recently named as one of the seven new wonders of the world. After descending once again by train, the tour will continue to the Maracana Stadium, Sambadrome, and the Metropolitan Cathedral, before passing through the bohemian neighbourhood of Lapa and its famous arches en route to Copacabana. Here, a traditional Brazilian BBQ lunch will be served, after which the tour will make its way through the colonial district of Urca to the world famous Sugarloaf. The journey up the Sugarloaf is made in glass cable cars, with the first taking passengers to the top of Urca Hill (215m), which offers spectacular views of Guanabara Bay. A second cable car will take guests on to the Sugarloaf (395m), giving them a chance to take in the 360 degree views of the entire city, including Copacabana beach, Corcovado mountain, and downtown Rio de Janeiro. After descending, passengers will be returned to their hotels. Hotel pick-up between 08h and 9.30, according to timetable available. Included: All transport, tickets and entry fees, with exception of entry to Maracana Stadium (currently closed for renovation prior to world cup), lunch (beverages not included). DAY 8: Rio : Freeday Free day to relax on Ipanema or Copacabana beach. If youâre wanting to be a bit more active consider an optional favela tour. | ||
DAY 9: Rio Transfer - Hotel (ZS) to Airport (SD) Departure from your hotel and private transfer to the airport. | ||
