As you step off the plane at Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales Airport, a warm greeting from a Remota Lodge Patagonia representative awaits you. Travel from the airport to the lodge in a comfortable vehicle on well-maintained roads, providing a breathtaking introduction to the vast and awe-inspiring Patagonian pampas.

Nestled on the shores of the Última Esperanza Sound, Remota Lodge Patagonia is a 5-star all-inclusive resort that offers an ideal haven for exploring the natural wonders of the Chilean Patagonia and Torres del Paine National Park. The hotel's architecture is inspired by the traditional Patagonian shearing sheds, and its seamless integration with the local environment has earned it the National Architecture Prize.

Note that extra activities are also available for an additional cost, and can be arranged locally.

Today you have the opportunity to customize your day by choosing either one full day tour or two half day tours from the soft excursions menu. Available activities include Torres del Paine national Park hiking, horsebackriding, Estancia day, Puerto Natales City tour, mountain biking, Patagonian lake navigation and cave tour, among others. The itinerary described below is just a sample of what is possible and can be tailored to your personal preferences. The experienced guides will be happy to assist you in choosing the best options for your interests and fitness level.

Embark on a full day photographic safari through Torres del Paine, where we will focus on exploring the eastern side of the park, home to a variety of wildlife. The tour begins with a hike from the Sarmiento lake entrance to the Amarga Lagoon entrance, traversing the Patagonian steppe, known for its guanacos and pumas, with stunning views of the Paine massif in the distance. After reaching the Nordenskjöld lake lookout and Pehoe camp, enjoy lunch before continuing to the Paine river waterfall, the main artery of the park and the heart of its hydrologic network.

Today, you will once again have the opportunity to customize your day by choosing either one full day tour or two half day tours from the soft excursions menu. The suggested itinerary detailed below serves as a sample and can be tailored to your preferences.

This morning you will have the chance to join a morning half day tour that takes you on a scenic journey through the Milodon Cave route Y-290. After departing from the hotel by van, we will head towards one of the closest valleys to the town of Puerto Natales. From there, we will cross the Ventisquero Valley, which offers a glimpse of the diverse flora and fauna that can be found in Patagonia.

The valley is home to a mix of Magellanic forests and pre-Andean bushland, with rushing waterfalls adding to the stunning scenery. As a Remota guest, you will have exclusive access to this hidden gem and be able to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the region. Be sure to keep an eye out for the local wildlife, which may include guanacos, foxes, and a variety of bird species.

Today you will be transferred from Remota Lodge to either Punta Arenas Airport or your hotel in El Calafate, Argentina, depending on your itinerary. The departure time will be reconfirmed directly to you on the evening before your departure.
