Day 1: Buenos Aires: Arrival
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires we transfer you to a centrally-located hotel.
Day 2: Buenos Aires: City Tour
After breakfast, we depart on our Buenos Aires city tour, visiting sites around the city such as La Boca, Recoleta Cemetery, best-known for holding Eva Peron’s grave, the Plaza de Mayo, where the Casa Rosada Presidential Palace is located; and Puerto Madero.
Day 3: Buenos Aires: Free Day
A chance to explore the wonderful city of Buenos Aires.
Day 4: Buenos Aires – Iguazú; Iguaçu Falls
Transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu. Upon arrival, we cross the bridge over the Iguazu River and into Brazil to visit the Brazilian side of the Falls.
We spend the day on a tour of the Argentinean side of the Falls. Here you can ride the Rainforest Ecological Train, then wander the many walkways that get you right up close to the deafening roar of the awe-inspiring Garganta del Diablo – Devil’s Throat!
We return to the hotel where we spend the night.
We transfer you to the airport for your flight to Calafate via Buenos Aires.
Day 7: Calafate: Perito Moreno Glacier
After breakfast, the bus heads to Perito Moreno where, after a short walk, we obtain our first glimpse of the glacier. Standing at over 100m high, it is one of the few glaciers in the world still advancing, and we will have a chance to watch it ‘calving’.
Day 8: Calafate: Free Day: Los Glaciares National Park Optional
Today, you have a free day to enjoy the sights and activities of Calafate.
At the appropriate time, we transfer you to Calafate airport for the flight to Bariloche
Day 10: Bariloche: Circuito Chico Excursion
Today we make a half-day excursion by road alongside Lake Nahuel Huapi for an overview of Bariloche town and the picturesque surroundings. Our 60km round trip includes Melipal, Playa Bonita, Lake Moreno, the Llao Llao district, Puerto Pañuelo and Lopez Bay.
Day 11: Bariloche: Lake Nahuel Huapi Navigation
This half day tour sees us drive to Puerto Pañuelo to board a catamaran that crosses the majestic Lake Nahuel Huapi to Quetrihue Peninsula: here we wander among distinctive forests of Arrayanes trees.
Day 12: Bariloche - Buenos Aires
Transfer to airport for flight back to Buenos Aires, where the tour ends.
