Day 1: Arrive Rio de Janiero, Brazil (D)
Arrival day. Embark in the afternoon and sail in the evening.
Day 2: Ilha Grande (B,L,D)
Leaving the incomparable Rio de Janeiro we head out to Ilha Grande, a picturesque laid back coastal island.
Day 3: Paranaguá (B,L,D)
The train ride from Curitiba isn't the only reason to go to Paranaguá. It's a colourful city, with an old section near the waterfront that has a feeling of tropical decadence.
Day 4: Florianópolis (B,L,D)
Florianópolis or simply "Floripa", is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Brazil. With 172 km of coastline, and more than 42 beaches, this breathtaking setting is perfect for snorkeling, sailing, wildlife viewing or just kicking back and relaxing with a Caipirinha.
Day 5-6: Coastal Exploration (2B,2L,2D)
For the next two days we will sail along the Rio Grande do Sul coastline.
Day 7: Punta del Este, Uruguay (B,L,D)
A short hop from Buenos Aires, the premier beach town of Punta del Este draws Argentina's glitterati each summer for a seemingly endless paparazzi beach party. It may be full of tourists, but they're all beautiful, and mostly from Argentina.
Day 8: Montevideo / Buenos Aires, Argentina (B,L)
Morning arrival into Montevideo. Disembark the M/S Expedition and partake in a city tour of Uruguay's capital city. Enjoy your final lunch together before embarking on your afternoon ferry to Buenos Aires.
Day 9: Depart Buenos Aires (B)
Depart Buenos Aires to fly home or start another tour.
