The 130-foot-long, M/V Aqua is the first true luxury cruise ship on the northern Amazon River in Peru and was custom built for the Amazon to offer an extraordinary level of comfort for it’s guests.

The M/V Aqua can accommodate a maximum of 24 cruise ship guests plus crew. This luxury cruise ship is the perfect size to sail along the Amazon River, providing extremely comfortable lounge, dining and sleeping accommodations and modern navigation technologies and standards for cruise ship travel and safety on the water.

Day 1: Iquitos – Amazon River: Dinner

Arrival to Iquitos, transfer to Dock and Check-in to the magnificent Aqua River cruiser. After settling into our cabins we will have some free time in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset before having a delicious meal under the stars. Overnight in cabin.

Day 2: Amazon River: All meals

Today after breakfast we will explore the might Amazon River and have a chance to undertake a spot of fishing for the infamous Piranha. In the afternoon we will make our way to the Amazon headwaters to explore the source of this great river. Overnight in cabin.

Day 3: Marañón River / Pacaya Samiria Reserve: All meals

Today we will take a full day trip up the Marañón river to the Pacaya Samiria reserve. After enjoying a picnic lunch we will have the chance to get up close and personal with the various monkey species as well as some pink dolphin spotting before returning to the boat.

Day 4: Marañón River / Amazon River: All meals

Puerto Miguel Village is our next stop on the Amazon River adventure as we will be able to get a real taste of what life is like for the locals who call the jungle their home. In the afternoon, we will take another excursion this time to Spot the famous Victoria Regias. Overnight in Cabin.

Day 5: Pacaya Samiria Reserve / Yanallpa River: All meals

This morning we will head back to Pacaya Samiria Reserve and continue our exploration of the river. This is followed by a night Trip to see spot the dangerous and fascinating Caimans who come out at night. Return to cabin on boat for overnight.

Day 6: Puinahua River / Pacaya River: All meals

Today we will step off the vessel and take in a jungle trek through the lush surroundings taking in all the magnificent Flora and Fauna. This is followed by another visit to meet the friendly locals in the Hatum Posa Village before returning to the vessel.

Day 7: Ucayali River / Amazon River: All meals

After a lovely breakfast on the skiffs we will have time to explore the Ucayalia River which runs off the Amazon River. After lunch we will once again go out for some fishing to see if your skills have improved since the first attempt. Return to vessel for last supper on what has been an unforgettable experience.

Day 8: Iquitos: All meals

After breakfast we will say our goodbyes and disembark the boat. Time to take in a quick city tour of Iquitos before returning to the airport for flight out.
