I left New Zealand when I was 20 and moved to Perth as it was the furthest I could go without a visa! Two and a half years later, I packed in a conventional job and began chasing the snow living and working in resorts - the first being Threbo, NSW, the second being Park City in Utah, USA. The next two and a half years were spent living and working in the UK, with many trips all over Europe centred around snow but also to soak up all of the culture, food, history and amazing landscapes. After my time in Europe I moved to Whistler, BC, Canada for my final ski season and it was here that I began working for an expedition company and my interest in snow transformed into a passion for polar exploration. This passion has taken me to the Northwest Passage in the Canadian Arctic twice, Spitsbergen, Antarctica twice, South Georgia and the Falkland islands.

I have always loved South America and have always had a desire to know/learn more about it despite not living and working there as I have done elsewhere. I absolutely fell in love with Buenos Aires whilst I was there so if you ever can’t find me that's where i've run away to! Pisco sours are my favourite drink, which makes Peru extremely high on my must-see list.  My favourite memories of Latin America are getting the opportunity to travel with my parents to Iguazu (a childhood dream), to be at the Puerto Merino Glacier when the ice bridge caved, staying at Explora Atacama and hiking through the incredible terrain, and sampling the wonderful wine and delicious food all over!

I love working in the travel industry as it allows me to be constantly exposed to new ways of thinking, new experiences, and I get to meet such wonderful people along the way.
