Estancia Experiece at La Bamba de Areco

2 Days FROM USD 548

When the hectic life of Buenos Aires becomes unbearable and travellers long for a restful day in the country, La Bamba de Areco may prove to be the destination of choice. Few are the places that are so close to the City yet so secluded and tranquil. At only 123 kilometers from Buenos Aires, La Bamba de Areco, offers precisely what the Celtic origin of its name translates to; a place to rest. A typical program is portrayed below.

Trip Code: ARTSOLB

Location: Argentina

You will be met by our representative and transferred to San Antonio de Areco.

Enjoy an authentic day in the countryside at an exclusive luxury estancia near San Antonio de Areco. It is an hour and a half’s drive to San Antonio de Areco across the open pampas. On arrival in San Antonio de Areco there is time to take a walk around this charming gaucho town and its huge central plaza. The town hints at a return to the eighteenth century, with its narrow colonial streets, church, bars, silversmiths and museums. Following that it is a short 13 km drive out to the exclusive ‘La Bamba de Areco’ Estancia. Once at the estancia you can choose from a range of activities including excursions on horseback, carriage and mountain bike. There are bowls - known locally as bochas - and a swimming pool, and the numerous indoor and outdoor sitting areas offer a variety of spots to relax with a good book. La Bamba de Areco also serves as the base for the international polo team that bears its name, though it is not always possible to watch, there are sometimes practise sessions or chukkas on one of the property’s two polo fields. Although it is not intended to be a polo school, arrangements can be made on request for guests who are experienced polo players.

Arrive La Bamba De Areco

With so many activities to choose from and a beautiful destination to enjoy, choose from the list of activities or maybe enjoy a hot stone massage. The large swimming pool and numerous relaxation areas offers you an unforgettable restful experience and an incomparable way to restore energy before leaving back to Buenos Aires.
