ITINERARY INSPIRATION

On arrival at Cusco Airport you will be met and transferred to Explora Valle Sagrado. Surrounded by remote corn plantations and with views to the mountains, Explora Valle Sagrado is the perfect base to explore Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. Discover traditional villages still untouched by globalization to immerse yourself within this historical and cultural Inca destination.

Cusco - Sacred Valley

Explora Valle Sagrado offers a diverse menu of explorations either on foot, by van or bike. From traditional towns barely touched by the force of globalization to ancient ruins perfectly preserved from the passing of time and lagoons at the foot of snow covered mountains. All the explorations are led by a competent and bilangual guide from the Explora Guide School and consist of groups of eight travellers with the option of different geographical and fitness levels. Additionally, there are half day tours and full day explorations available to discover the area.

In this full-day exploration, we travel to the famous historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the most impressive architectural feats of the Inca civilization and a wonder of the world.

Today you will return to Cusco.

Sacred Valley - Cusco

You will be collected from your hotel for a sightseeing tour through Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire. Visit the fascinating Qorikancha Temple of the Sun, the 12-Angled Rock and the Cathedral, built on the ruins of an Inca Palace. From here head to the archaeological remains located around the city, including the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo (giant rock), the ancient site of Puca Pucara and finally the Water Temple of Tambomachay. On completion of your tour, you will be taken to your hotel. Included in your tour price is the BTG (Tourist Ticket of Cusco). Please note this is a small group tour.

You will be collected from your hotel at the appropriate time and transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
