Congratulations and thank you for being part of the first-ever flights from Australia to see the SOUTHERN LIGHTS!
When the captain announced they could see the Aurora Australis from the flight deck, you could feel our collective pulse quicken. As the cabin lights dimmed, the excitement grew, and before long, there were shrieks of joy emanating throughout the aircraft. There it was, right outside our window - the Southern Lights! More than a few tears were shed as we zig-zagged our way through the auroral zone chasing the dancing lights of the Aurora Australis.
It was a surreal experience that's been challenging to put into words.
