Sleeping On The Tundra In One-Of-A-Kind Accommodation Where Polar Bears Roam

Spend your nights in the heart of polar bear country at the unique Tundra Buggy Lodge. Located at Polar Bear Point within the Churchill Wildlife Management Area, the lodge allows guests to stay where the wildlife action happens, rather than travelling back and forth from town. Large viewing windows provide opportunities to watch polar bears and other wildlife passing by, while the remote tundra setting creates a truly immersive Arctic experience.

With comfortable cabin-style accommodation and all-inclusive hospitality, guests can relax in the middle of one of Canada's most important wildlife habitats. From sunrise to sunset, and even after dark, the lodge offers continual opportunities to connect with the Arctic wilderness, including the chance to spot polar bears right outside your window. The sleeping quarters consist of 10 upper and 10 lower berths, each featuring a standard twin-sized mattress (190 cm x 98 cm / 74.5 in x 38.5 in), a reading light, a personal window for wildlife viewing, and four 110-volt electrical outlets for charging devices. A sound-dampening curtain provides privacy by separating the berths from the aisle. In addition, each 20-person accommodation unit has three bathrooms, two of which are equipped with showers.

The Thanadelthur Lounge serves as the social heart of the Buggy Lodge, providing a welcoming space to unwind after a day on the tundra. This shared gathering space creates a friendly expedition atmosphere where guests can enjoy expert presentations, discuss wildlife sightings, and share stories from the day's adventures.
