Most Antarctica cruises depart from the southernmost tip of South America, so to get to Antarctica from the US, you'll first need to fly to the port towns of Ushuaia, Argentina or Punta Arenas, Chile. You can connect from many major US cities to Buenos Aires, and from there, pick up your connecting flight to Ushuaia or Punta Arenas. The major airports in South America have English signage and English-speaking airline staff, so it's easy to navigate, even if you don't speak Spanish.
