“If there was ever one constant in my life, it was an undeniable drive to explore the world. I’m a proud member of the 7th Continent Club with the unique distinction of having reached all seven continents by ship! One of my favourite aspects of travel is the ability to experience food, people, and cultures that inspire you, and to connect with nature and wildlife in ways that stay with you forever.”

My journey into tourism started early by finding ways to work and travel across the globe - from teaching English in South Korea to working in the Canadian Rockies of Banff, living in the UK, and working aboard cruise lines on routes that took me to every continent, including a complete circumnavigation of South America.

Those years at sea sparked a lifelong passion for maritime travel, eventually leading me behind the scenes into polar expedition operations. Managing the complex day-to-day logistics of an ice-strengthened expedition vessel gave me an intimate understanding of how these voyages truly run - from technical shipboard operations and building strong expedition teams to navigating the unpredictable realities of remote polar programs.

Along the way, my work took me through the dramatic Norwegian fjords, high into Svalbard among walruses and polar bears, and on multiple unforgettable voyages to Antarctica. Nothing compares to the raw beauty of the White Continent, where nature makes all the rules. 

You’ll be humbled by towering glaciers and jagged mountain peaks, but the wildlife encounters are what stay with you - whether that’s watching humpback whales surface right beside your Zodiac or stepping ashore amongst chattering gentoo penguins, each with their own distinct personality!

Beyond ship life, I’m an active traveller who loves getting off the beaten path in Central and South America. I’ve immersed myself in incredible adventures across the region, from hiking to Machu Picchu and surfing in Ecuador to white water rafting in Costa Rica and horseback riding in Chile. 

What makes Latin America so special is the sheer contrast: you can go from world-class cuisine and vibrant local culture to untouched wilderness in a single afternoon. Whatever pace or style of travel you prefer, the region offers everything you could ask for and more.

For me, planning a trip isn't just about ticking boxes - it's about matching you with the right vessel, the right itinerary, and authentic experiences that foster a genuine connection to the people and wildlife that call these places home. Having experienced these landscapes from both the passenger deck and the operations room, I understand what transforms a trip into a truly life-changing expedition.
