OVERVIEW
Come join us on this ultra luxury exploration of the final frontier. With just 12 guests you will depart from Cape Town on board a premium Airbus A340 (or similar) or private jet as you fly for approximately 5 hours before you begin to see the first sights of icecaps and frozen glaciers. Landing at Wolf Fangs's runway, you will be transferred to your home base of Whichaway Oasis - A unique collection of hi-tech polar domes set on the shores of a frozen lake and encircled by an incredible icefall, or the newly built Echo Camp, which is inspired by the seminal age of Space exploration.
Savour gourmet meals prepared by your private chef, sip cocktails by the fire, and cross off bucket list adventures like ice climbing, hiking over ice waves, and coming face-to-face with 28,000 emperor penguins.
From your camp take a short flight to Atka Bay where you will bear witness to the unforgettable sight of over 14,000 breeding pairs of emperor penguins, and their newly hatched chicks. With so few visitors to this corner of the white continent, these curious characters are not afraid of human contact, and often waddle close by for fantastic photography opportunities. Echo Camp sits in solitude with space-age designed 'Sky Pods', which almost look like they have been beamed down from Mars. On the inside an 'Art Deco' paradise awaits. The camp accommodates a maximum of 12 guests and allows you to combine the ultimate in luxury with a range of adventure activities on the 7th Continent. You have the option to Abseil into camp and can select from a wide range of included activities such as fat-biking, skiing, ice climbing and camping out in the wilderness.
Both camps are designed to be dismantled and leave no trace on the Antarctica landscape.
